Boziliao in Yunlin’s Sihu Township is home to a high-quality coastal fishery industry, rich historic culture and breathtaking natural environments. Whenever the OWF Yunlin team spends time in Yunlin County they are very impressed with the passion and devotion shown by the locals for the development of their community.
For example, in the past the team was lucky to be able to participate in the event of passing on the heritage and traditional skills of building a fishing raft. The team marveled at the delicacy of the manufacturing and skills, and learned more about the work and way of life of fishermen in Yunlin. We hope, through continuous participation of local events like this, that we can learn more about and share in the locals’ thoughts and concerns regarding the windfarm, and work together with the locals towards a bright future for the communities of Yunlin County.
